Clopay dealers aren’t just good business people, they are good community citizens. Whenever they can these folks donate their time, leadership skills and even their door expertise to support a local family or organization in need.
Chris Cunningham, president and owner of Cunningham Door and Window in Louisville, Ky. is also president of YouthBuild Louisville, a non-profit organization that helps unemployed and undereducated young people, ages 18 to 24, build affordable housing for homeless and low-income families in their own communities. They split their time between the construction site and the classroom, where they earn their GED or high school diploma, learn to be community leaders, and prepare for jobs or college.
The local chapter recently moved into a facility in need of new insulated garage doors. Cunningham Door along with Clopay’s help donated labor and materials to replace the building’s three commercial doors.
