Call it a sign: the HGTV Urban Oasis 2018 Giveaway sweepstakes began on Lois Anderson's birthday. Now she's been named the winner of the fully-remodeled and furnished home in Cincinnati, which is valued at over $750,000.
Lois’s name was randomly drawn from over 65 million entries to the sweepstakes.
Clopay was one of the 2018 Giveaway sponsors, and provided the eye-catching “Heart Throb Red” Canyon Ridge Collection garage doors and complementing Craftsman Collection entry door.

Anderson, a mother of two and grandmother of nine, says she was attracted to the house because Cincinnati is close to her family in Michigan.
In Detroit, she works as an overnight patient sitter at a local hospital. Riding three buses to get there, Lois has had a lot of time to dream about winning the home.
In a press release she said, "I'm so excited. No one needs to pinch me because I haven't stopped pinching myself."
Though she’s not completely surprised by her windfall. “My sons were a little skeptical when I shared the good news with them, but they know I’m a big believer that the impossible can happen!”
